Inkwheel Privacy Policy

Inkwheel is a word game published by ioCentrics. This page explains what the game stores, why, and how you can remove it.

What we store

• An anonymous player ID created the first time you open the game, and a random device ID. These let the server keep your level, coins, trophies and standings.
• Your pen name, title and emblem, which other players see on leaderboards, in guilds and on your public profile.
• Your gameplay: the words you spelled in each round and when you spelled them. The server replays every round to compute your score, so no device can cheat. Replays are also used to detect automated play.
• Sign in with Apple (optional): if you sign in, we store the anonymous identifier Apple gives us so one account can be used on iPhone, iPad and Mac. We never receive your name or e-mail address from Apple.
• Purchases: when you buy coins, we receive the signed App Store transaction so we can credit the coins. We do not see your payment details.
• Device integrity: on iPhone and iPad the game may use Apple's App Attest to prove it is a genuine copy. This sends Apple-issued attestation data, not personal information.

Advertising

On iPhone and iPad the game shows adverts served by Google AdMob, including the optional "watch an ad for coins" reward. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure adverts, as described in Google's policy. Where the law requires it, the game asks for your consent before showing personalised adverts, and you can choose non-personalised adverts instead. The Mac version shows no adverts.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not collect your contacts, location, photos or messages.
• We do not use your data for anything other than running the game and its competitions.

Deleting your account

Open Settings → Account → Delete account in the game. This removes your pen name, Apple link, devices, progress, trophies and standings immediately. Purchase records are kept only as far as accounting law requires, without any name attached.

Children

Inkwheel is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
